I was taking a bus to school the other day, standing at a corner as there was no available seats & listening to my mp3, trying to act oblivious to the surrounding. Some lecturer once said, looking away from another person in a packed bus/train is to create private space within a crowded area for one self. Then, this old lady together with her daughter( I think) board the bus. For the new bus, the design is such that there is 4 priority seats in front for the needy. I look over to that area, & I realised, there's this 2 ladies and a man seating at the seat not supposedly meant for them. Fyi, all are working adults. The man is obviously looking away, pretending not to see anything. But what really disgusted me was the 2 ladies, approx somewhat near 40s? They were busy talking away, even though they saw that old lady, and continue yanking away. They were well-dressed, somewhat look kinda classy. But that action, totally spoil the image.That reminded me of Taiwan. Everyone queues up for the train, no one sits on the priority seats unless they fit the criteria, even on a packed train. When taking the escalator, everyone will stay to the left (or was it right) if they are not in a rush. When will Singapore ever comes to something like that?& my dear friends will start to say I fit the bill for priority seat cause I'm old and disable (mentally disable that's it).I read back 2007 archives. I realised I lost that substance. The feeling of being young & youthful. Now ar, it feels like a 28 year old blogging about life, worrying about life :(I feel like going bangkok, or even malaysia will do fine, for some road trip. eat & play & sleep & eat & play & sleep XD
